The chef's really know their stuff. Great staff and the best atmosphere in town. Food is great and excellent value. Be sure to have a beer with big Ben in the bar upstairs.

Having a holiday house in Warrnambool, we don't feel a trip to our favourite holiday destination would be complete without at least one meal at Proudfoots. You can guarantee all meals will be delivered in a timely manner, with a smile and be totally enjoyable.
Wonderful location for a relaxing lunch for two, afternoon tea or a celebration meal between friends. Just enjoy a quality meal at a very reasonable price and absorb the peace. (melbournemum55 - June, 2009)

Enjoyed our night at Proudfoots, great menu, staff nice,. We went back next morning for breakfast which was very nice. Loved the outlook onto the water. Will return next year on our Australia Day Weekend.

My new local
I went to Proudfoots on the river with friends the other day, and was very impressed. The Morroccan Lamb was great and it was lovely sitting on the deck with a bottle of blanc, chatting all arvo. Coffee and cake was a fantastic finale to a great day!!

Proudfoots is our choice when we go out. The service is fantastic, the food is delicious and the boathouse is beautiful. Every visitor should experience the wonder that is Proudfoots!
Magnificent meals in a magical setting. Old boathouse converted into reception centre/bar/restaurant overlooking the Hopkins River.Restaurant is small, but made up for by the great friendly service. The Duck is a must try!
